Lawrence E.
Honig (Spartanburg, South Carolina) has served as chief executive officer and director since April 2002 and was elected chairman of board of directors in December 2003.
From February 2000 until April 2001, he served as managing director of eHatchery LLC, an early-stage facilitator for internet-based start-up companies.
From January 1998 to July 1999, he was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Edison Brothers Stores, Inc., a specialty retailer, also serving as a director from September 1997 to March 1999.
He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Federated Systems Group, a division of Federated Department Stores, from 1994 to 1998.
From 1982 to 1992, he was executive vice president and then vice chairman and a member of the board of The May Department Stores Company.
Previously, he was a principal of McKinsey & Company, Inc., the international management consulting firm.
