Lawrence E. Benna

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) manages land on behalf of the US government. The agency additionally manages nearly 300 million acres of subsurface mineral resources and provides wildfire management and suppression for 388 million acres. BLM is tasked with managing energy, minerals, timber, forage, wild horse and burro populations, fish and wildlife habitat and wilderness areas. The company was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Washington, DC.
