During years 1999 to 2002, he was a managing member of investment partnership James River Partners in Charlottesville, Virginia.
It was during his years as a member of the American Stock Exchange (1993-1997) that he met each of the Gargoyle principals.
Prior to transitioning into the securities industry, he worked in both marketing and finance organizations from 1981 to 1993 inside the IBM Company.
Mr. Easterling currently serves on the board of directors of Hope For New York, a non-profit organization that serves the poor and marginalized of New York City.

Mr. Easterling graduated from the University of Mississippi where he was a member of the 1976-1979 football teams.
