In 1977, Hans Ouwendijk started his career as finance manager at Enraf Nonius NV in The Netherlands.
From 1984 until 1995 he held several management positions within Laura Ashley in The Netherlands, UK and USA. In 1995, Hans was appointed CFO of the Mexx Group and was closely involved in the drafting and roll-out of a new strategy for the company.
In 2001, he coordinated the sale of the Mexx Group to Liz Claiborne Inc. Early 2004, Hans was appointed COO of all multi-brand operations of Liz Claiborne in Europe.
In January 2005, he became member of the Executive Council of Liz Claiborne Inc. U.S.A.
Hans holds a Master degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
