Dr. Sullivan joined Chrysalix in 2005 and is active in leading new investments and working with current Client Companies.
Dr. Sullivan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fat Spaniel Technologies, Inc., HydroPoint Data Systems Inc., and Novazone, Inc.
Prior to Chrysalix, Dr. Sullivan spent several years at the University of British Columbia developing alternative fuels and combustion technologies for power and transportation.
Prior to UBC, Dr. Sullivan was Senior Vice-President and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where he managed a proprietary hedge fund.
His earlier Capital Markets experience includes positions at Citigroup in Equity Derivatives and Chase Manhattan Bank in Emerging Markets.
Prior to his work on Wall Street, Dr. Sullivan worked for a California water utility where he assisted in the permitting of the Los Vaqueros Reservoir and where he provided expert testimony for California State and U.S.
Federal water regulatory hearings.
Dr. Sullivan also worked briefly in the Fuel and Physics Group at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station, where he developed advanced reactor fueling programs.
Dr. Sullivan holds a B.Sc.
(honors) in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and an M.S.
and Ph.D.
in Aeronautical Engineering from Caltech.
