Eric Thompson

Mr. Eric Thompson is Chief Financial Officer at Greenspring Associates, Inc. Prior to that Mr. Thompson worked as a Manager in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services Practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, in Baltimore.
Mr. Thompson served both public and private institutions and was responsible for providing Sarbanes Oxley Implementation and Compliance, oversaw the Initial Public Offering of a local biotech firm and was responsible for supervising regular SEC filings for his public clients.
Additionally, Mr. Thompson provided audit and advisory services to many of the area’s premier venture capital firms.
Mr. Thompson served on the PricewaterhouseCooopers’ audit of Montagu Newhall since 2002.
Mr. Thompson received both his BBA in Accounting and his MBA in Finance from the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola College in Maryland.
He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
