Barker is a Senior Managing Director & Senior Portfolio Manager at Highlander Capital Management LLC.
She has over 29 years of direct investment and portfolio management experience.
She is directly responsible for the portfolio management of equity,tax-exempt and taxable fixed-income accounts.
She constructs and maintains a wide range of portfolios, including income-oriented accounts, balanced accounts,and long-term growth accounts.
In addition, she manages several private partnerships that invest in the financial services sector.
She is also a senior vice president of sales and an employee of Highlander Capital Group, Inc. Prior to joining HCM, she was a vice-president of sales for Smith Barney.
She began her career at Ryan, Beck and Co., where she developed an expertise in analyzing bank and financial service companies.
She received her undergraduate degree, Cum Laude, from Harvard University.
