Dinant Veehof is an entrepreneur and investor in the high tech industry.
He started his career as venture capitalist in the IT industry for Alpinvest in 1998 where he invested in numerous start-ups in Europe and Israel.
Excited by the challenge of entrepreneurship, he later on joined FilePool's management team as CFO at the time of a major organizational turnaround in 2000.
He co-led the repositioning of the Company that eventually translated into its acquisition by EMC Corporation in a EUR 60 million cash transaction, highly profitable to its investors.
After FilePool, Dinant co-founded Voice Data Bridge, a leading speech recognition company and 1850, which has become the leading independent Directory Assistance provider in the Netherlands.
Dinant is a graduate of Nyenrode University with a Msc.
degree in business administration (cum laude).
He also has a Msc.
degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Eindhoven (distinction).
