Prior to affiliating with HT Capital Advisors, Mr. Wetherill served as a Founding Partner and General Partner of the private equity firm DFW Capital Partners for over 14 years.
He then established his own consulting firm, Broad Reach Consulting, where he performed merger and acquisition (M&A) consulting for private and public companies.
His work in both private equity and M&A consulting has been focused on the health care service industry where he has invested partnership money in many health care service companies.
He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Great Lakes Health Plan, as Lead Director at IntegraMed America, and as a Director at Peak Medical Corporation, Learning Services Corporation, Taylor Medical and ConsoliDent Corporation.
Most of these corporations have either been taken public or sold to larger public entities.
Mr. Wetherill began his career in the pharmaceutical industry with SmithKline Corporation where he served in Product Management and Corporate Development.
He subsequently served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Planning with Airco, Inc., National Medical Care, and Avon Products Health Care Group.
For each of these companies he led a process which resulted in the acquisition of other health care service companies.
Mr. Wetherill holds a BA degree, Cum Laude, from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
He also holds a graduate Certificate of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a 2 year evening program of the Wharton Graduate School of Business.
