Mr. Daniel Scher is a Vice President, Portfolio Manager & Research Analyst at Franklin Templeton Institutional LLC.

Prior to joining the team, Mr. Scher spent over four years performing business development, marketing and client service functions for Franklin Templeton Institutional in Melbourne, Australia.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Scher worked for the asset management division of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) providing investment support and research to the institutional funds management distribution team.
Mr. Scher received a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University, majoring in Economics and Finance, in addition to an Honors degree in Economics.
He also completed a graduate diploma of applied finance and investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and has earned the accreditation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA).
