Before joining LEM Mezzanine, Mr. Spanier was an Analyst for Hamlin Capital Management, LLC, a diversified $800 million private equity firm in New York City, with a specialty in non-rated municipal bonds.
At Hamlin, he assisted in the reconciliation and asset management of several investment portfolios, was a liaison to affiliated brokers and traders, and preformed equity analysis for the firm's hedge fund.
During his collegiate years, he was a member of Penn State University's Smeal College Trading Room and also participated in extensive internships at Merrill Lynch, The New York Stock Exchange, Lubert-Adler Management, and The Big Ten Conference.
Mr. Spanier received his BS in Finance from Pennsylvania State University's Smeal College of Business Administration.
