Bertram S. Goldman
Profile
Before joining First Broadcasting, Mr. Goldman served as vice president of engineering for ABC Radio.
Previously, he spent 17 years at Shamrock Broadcasting as vice president of engineering and held similar positions at Patterson Broadcasting and Nationwide Communications prior to their consolidation.
He studied broadcast management with supporting courses in engineering and business administration at the University of Maryland in College Park.
A past chairman of the NAB FM Transmission Committee and the EIA DAR Field Test Task Group, he is also active in the development of digital radio broadcasting.
Mr. Goldman is a current member of the NAB Spectrum Integrity Task Force and involved with the NRSC in evaluating IBOC digital broadcasting technology.
