Andrew Casteel

Mr. Andrew Casteel is a Chief Investment Officer & Financial Planner at Acorn Financial Advisory Services, Inc. He joined the Acorn team in July 2018.
He currently serves as President of a local non-profit that provides life essential services to reduce hunger and the risk of homelessness to residents of Fairfax County.
He also serves on the board of the largest adult softball league in the country.
Previously, Mr. Casteel worked as a Financial Advisor at WS Wealth Management where he also sat on the firm’s investment committee.
Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor in 2013, he began his career in investment management as an ETF Trader on the floors of the Stock Exchanges in New York City, first on the American Stock Exchange and later he managed a specialist post on the New York Stock Exchange.
Following business school Andrew worked as a Trader at a global quantitative hedge fund.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from The Darden Graduate School of Business (University of Virginia) and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the College of William and Mary.
He is also a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®.
