Profile
I manage investee company financial reporting and valuations for Palatine, together with providing support in budget and MI improvements for new and existing portfolio members.
After a law degree from Cambridge, I became a chartered accountant and spent my early career at Deloitte and Binder Hamlyn including over 10 years in technical corporate finance.
I then swapped sides and became a CFO in two successful private equity transactions.
The first of these was Card Warehouse Group, backed by Gary Tipper and Ed Fazakerley, followed by a branded fashion deal where a £20m entry price was taken to over £190m on exit in four years.
Having experience in both sides of private equity provides me with a real understanding what makes business happen and a shared perspective on the demands faced by all management teams.
I have been with Palatine since 2012 and still enjoy the challenge.
Outside of work, family comes first, followed by some cycling when the weather is fair and rock music any time.
