Mr. Disney is the son of The Walt Disney Company co-founder Roy O.
Disney, the brother of Walt Disney.
Mr. Disney joined the Walt Disney Company in 1954 and worked as a Writer, Producer, and Director until he was elected to the Board of Directors in 1967.
In March of 1984, Mr. Disney resigned from the board only to rejoin the Board of Directors in June of 1984.
In November of 2003, Mr. Disney announced his resignation and in the summer of 2005, Mr. Disney rejoined the Walt Disney Company as a non voting Director Emeritus and consultant.
Mr. Disney co-founded Shamrock Holdings and Shamrock Capital Advisors in 1978.
He is currently a trustee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and of the California Institute of the Arts.
He is also on the advisory board of St. Joseph Medical Center.
Mr. Disney is a graduate of Pomona College.
