Saul is President and Publisher of News & Record, Inc. since March, 2004.
He is a Director of United Way of Greensboro and Partnership Greensboro.
Mr. Saul is a Member of the advisory council for the Greensboro Mosaic Partnership and Elon University, School of Communications and the executive board for Commitment to Excellence and Action Greensboro and UNCG's Corporate Relations Committee.
He is Chairman of the Circulation Committee in the Southern Newspaper Press Association.
Previously, Mr. Saul was a Director of the Carroll County General Hospital Foundation, the Carroll County Hospice and Maryland-Delaware-D.C.
Press Association, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, and Greater Westminster Development Corp.
He worked for The Virginian-Pilot.
Mr. Saul received a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College in 1976 and an MBA from the University of North Carolina in 1978.
