Mr. Richard W.
Courts, II, is a Partner at Pointer Capital LLC and a Chairman at Atlantic Investment Co. Mr. Courts also served on the board at Genuine Parts Co., Cousins Properties, Inc. and SunTrust Bank (Atlanta, Georgia).
Mr. Courts joined the investment banking firm of Courts & Co. in 1959 at their New York City office in their Trading Department.
In 1963, Mr. Courts moved to the Atlanta office as a member of the Investment Banking Department.
In 1968, he became a general partner in the firm.
Courts & Co. was sold to Reynolds Securities in 1969.
Mr. Courts graduated from The Westminster Schools of Atlanta and received his BBA degree from the University of Georgia.
He also attended New York University in New York City.
