Richard Andrew Deitz

Mr. Richard A. Deitz is a Founder & President at VR Advisory Services UK LLP and at VR Capital Group Ltd. He leads the investment activities of the firm.
He is on the Board of Directors at Elementum Energy Ltd. Prior to founding VR Capital Group, Mr. Deitz was a founding Partner and Head of Fixed Income Trading at emerging markets investment bank, Renaissance Capital Group.
He was a Managing Director in the Financial Products unit of Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for the firm’s structured fixed income derivatives business in North America from 1990 to 1994 and for developing the firm’s Eastern European derivatives business from 1994 until his departure to co-found Renaissance Capital in April 1995.
Mr. Deitz began his career at The First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse) in New York City in 1987, specializing in fixed income securities and derivatives.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University in New Haven, CT.
He graduated, magna cum laude, in June 1987, with dual B.A. degrees in history and economics with distinction in both majors.
