Peter B. Tarr

Peter B. Tarr served as the Chairman of First Marblehead Corp.
from 2005 to 2010.
Prior to that, he was a Senior Partner at Hale & Dorr LLP.
From 1986 to 2005, he was a Senior Partner in the Corporate Law Department at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr LLP.
Tarr received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Yale University and his graduate degree from the University of Virginia.
