Mitsuo Fujinami

Mr. Mitsuo Fujinami is a Director at BioFrontier Partners, Inc. Mr. Fujinami has over twenty years of experience at JAFCO, Japanfs largest venture capital firm.
He served on the board of directors at JAFCO and its subsidiary, JAFCOVEN, a company that manages the overall accounting and financial reporting of venture capital funds.
While at JAFCO, he was instrumental in creating a new type of a fund called Investment Enterprise Partnership, which became a model financial tool for venture capital firms in Japan.
In addition, Mr. Fujinami has extensive experience and know-how in preparing and filing for an IPO in the Japanese stock market.
He was responsible for taking JAFCO public in the OTC Market (JASDAQ) in 1987 and later in the Tokyo Stock Exchange (First Section).
Mr. Fujinami provides hands on support and advice to our portfolio companies from start up to exit.
His expertise is in finance, tax accounting and human resources.
Mr. Fujinami earned his Masters degree from Keio University.
