Judith A. Ryan

Judith A. Ryan has been a Director of Renaissance Learning, Inc. since February 2004.
From 1998 to 2003, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society.
Dr. Ryan was an Associate Director of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and an Associate Dean of the University of Iowa College of Nursing from 1995 to 1998, Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer of Lutheran General HealthSystem in Park Ridge from 1989 to 1995 and Chief Executive Officer of the American Nurses' Association and its six subsidiary corporations from 1982 to 1989.
She has served as a Director of Sioux Valley Hospital from 2000 to 2003 and St. Olaf College from 1991 to 2003.
Dr. Ryan served on Health and Human Services Secretary Thompson's Advisory Committee on Regulatory Reform from 2001 to 2003.
She received a PhD in Hospital and Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota.
