Jim Aylward

Mr. Aylward is Managing Director of Clark Hill Partners, LLC (CHP).
He was co-founder and executive vice president of Harvard Design and Mapping, a location intelligence software development and geographic information systems.
Founded in 1988, he and his partner Kija Kim sold HDM to the First American Corporation, the largest real estate information company in the world, in 2006.
From 1999-2000, Mr. Aylward founded SmartCity.com, Inc., an online “pocket real estate” technology startup bringing wireless technology to the For Sale By Owner market and real estate agents nationwide.
SmartCity.com was selected by Chase Securities as one of only two real estate related dotcoms to place it’s A round after successfully raising significant private funding.
He was a senior strategy director for Allen, Demurjian, Major and Nitsch from 1986-1988.
He served as Town Administrator for the Town of Boxford, Massachusetts from 1982-1986, and as a Legislative Assistant at the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1981-1982.
Mr. Aylward has twice presented at the MIT Enterprise Forum, is a mentor for the BCVC program at Boston College, and is a member of the Boston College Club.
He received a Bachelor degree in Political Science from Boston College and a Masters in Public Administration degree from Suffolk University.
He is an alum of M.I.T.’s Greater Boston Executive Program.
He is also a member of the eCoast Angel Network and the Boston Harbor Angels.
