After a two-year break from the investment business, Mr. Larkin joined Orion in March 2004.
Previously, he was Managing Director and Head of Research at HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. Prior to his four years with HSBC, he was a Director with Bunting Warburg Inc., where he was a transportation analyst for eleven years.
In recent years, he was the top ranked transportation analyst in institutional investor surveys performed by Greenwich Associates, Brendan Wood International and Reuters/Tempest.
In 2000 he contributed the chapter on Airlines in the Handbook of Canadian Security Analysis and has spoken at numerous airline industry and investment related conferences.
