David Packard is the founder of Keysight Technologies, HP Labs, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and HP, Inc. (founded in 1937, 1966, 1939, and 1939 respectively).
He held the title of Chairman-Emeritus at HP, Inc. He also founded the American Electronics Association (District of Columbia).
Packard's former jobs include Chairman & President of The David & Lucile Packard Foundation, Vice Chairman of The Nature Conservancy, Chairman & President of Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, Chairman of The Monterey Bay Aquarium Foundation, Founding Vice Chairman of California Roundtable, Director of The Boeing Co. and Caterpillar, Inc., and Member of the National Academy of Engineering, among others.
Packard received his undergraduate degree in 1934 and his graduate degree in 1939, both from Stanford University.
