Profile

Colton King is one of the founding partners of Mountaingate and is a member of the firm’s investment committee.
Colton currently serves on the board of directors of RevUnit, Bold Orange and previously served as a board member at Bounteous, Tinuiti, W2O Group, Vention Medical, Ansira and Olson.
Prior to Mountaingate, Colton gained 14 years of experience investing in the lower middle market at KRG Capital and CHS Capital, and started his career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch.
Colton graduated with a B.S.
from the University of Notre Dame and was an Austin Scholar while earning his M.B.A at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Colton spends as much time as he can trekking all over Colorado with his wife and three kids, and he keeps his fly rod, his road bike, and his skis within reach at all times.
Colton and his wife Maria are strong supporters of international nonprofits One Acre Fund, Hands on Houses, and Compassion International.
