Dr. Ben is an experienced civil servant and has served for over 25 years for the Tanzanian government as Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Water Energy and Minerals, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism Natural Resources and Environment and Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock Development and Cooperatives.
Dr. Ben has also served as a chairman and director of several parastatal organizations and private companies.
