Andrea Reed

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Ms. Reed was the Risk Manager for the University of Texas Investment Management Company (“UTIMCO”).
As Risk Manager, Ms. Reed was responsible for developing the risk management process at UTIMCO which included building a comprehensive risk budgeting process, selecting and implementing a portfolio risk model and developing an internally designed asset allocation model.
Prior to joining UTIMCO, Ms. Reed was Assistant Treasurer and Portfolio Risk Manager at Rice University.
Ms. Reed’s background also includes over 15 years of private sector experience in risk management and finance.
Ms. Reed received a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College, and a Master in Business Administration and Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
While pursuing her graduate degrees, Ms. Reed received a DAAD fellowship to study economics in Tubingen, Germany.
