ASTEEL Group Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company engaged in the manufacturing, trading, and servicing of steel materials. It is an integrated flat steel sheet manufacturer. The Company produces various types of steel materials, including hot-rolled pickled and oiled coils, cold-rolled coils, galvanized coils, and color-coated coils. Its business segments include ARSB and STARSHINE. The ARSB segment focuses on the manufacture and sale of coated steel products and downstream roofing products, and the trading of hardware and building materials in Sabah and Sarawak, East Malaysia. The STARSHINE segment trades galvanized, coated, and non-coated steel products, as well as building and construction materials. Its subsidiaries include ASTEEL Resources Sdn. Bhd. (ARSB) and Starshine Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (SSH). ARSB and SSH are engaged in the investment holding business. It operates with over nine factories, five building stores, and two business outlets throughout Malaysia.
