TORAY INDUSTRIES, INC. is a diversified group. The Company operates in five business segments. The Textile segment manufactures, processes and sells textile and apparel products. The Functional Chemicals Segment manufactures and sells resins and resin molded products, films and film processed products, synthetic fiber plastic raw materials, fine chemicals, electronic information materials and imprint materials. The Carbon Fiber Composite Material segment provides carbon fiber, the same composite material and the same molded product. Environmental engineering segment undertakes comprehensive engineering, among others. The Life Science segment manufactures and sells pharmaceuticals and medical devices. The Company is also engaged in the service-related business, such as analysis, survey, and research.
