Synectics plc is a United Kingdom-based company, which provides advanced security and surveillance systems. The Company specializes in providing solutions for specific markets where security and surveillance are critical to operations, such as energy, public space, transport, infrastructure, and leisure and hospitality. The Company operates through two segments: Systems and Ocular. The Systems segment develops and delivers its proprietary, technology-led solutions to specialist markets globally, including oil and gas, gaming, transport, critical infrastructure and public space through local systems integrators and channel partners. It offers a proprietary software platform, Synergy, which is tailored to the requirements of clients and specialist hardware for oil and gas markets. The Ocular segment delivers integrated solutions, services, and support directly to end-users in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Company also offers COEX camera station range.
