Metal Tiger plc is a natural resource company. The Company operates through two segments: Equity investments and Project investments. The Equity Investments segment is engaged in investing in high-potential mining, exploration and development companies with a preference for base and precious metals. It invests in mining companies that are significantly undervalued by the market and where there is substantial upside potential through exploration success and/or development of a mining project towards commercial production. The Equity investment categories consist of two parts: Active and Passive. Cobre Limited is engaged in base metal exploration. Southern Gold Limited is engaged in gold mining and exploration. Its Active investments consist of Cobre Limited, Southern Gold Limited, and Armada Metals Ltd. The Project Investments segment includes investments into mineral exploration and development projects either through subsidiaries, associates, or joint venture companies.
