Southern Cross Exploration N.L. is engaged in the exploration for uranium, gold and other minerals, as well as examining projects for possible acquisition. The Company's segments include Exploration and Other. The Exploration segment includes the exploration for metals and other minerals, primarily for oil, gas and other energy resources, either directly and/or through equity investment in exploration companies. The Other segment relates to an investment with a company involved in the development of property. The Company has interests in Batangas Gold Project and Gold Cross Gold project in the Philippines. The Company also has an interest in a uranium project in Tanzania. The Company has an investment in the Bigrlyi Uranium Joint Venture, which is located in the Ngalia Basin, Northern Territory. The Batangas Gold Project is located approximately 100 kilometers from Manila.
