The Company operates in two business segments. The Automotive segment is engaged in vehicle control business which provides semiconductors for controlling the engine and body of automobiles, and vehicle information business which provides semiconductors for in-vehicle information devices such as car navigation systems. The segment mainly provides microcontrollers, system-on-chip (SoC), analog semiconductors and power semiconductors. The Industry, Infrastructure and Internet of Things (IoT) segment is engaged in the industry business that supports the smart society, the infrastructure business and IoT business. The segment mainly provides microcontrollers, SoCs and analog semiconductors. The Company is also engaged in the development and contracted production of semiconductors.
