RCS and RDS SA is a Romania-based pay television and telecommunications provider. The Company provides cable and satellite television, mobile phone and fixed-line telephony services to more than 1.2 million subscribers in Romania, Slovakia and Hungary. The Company also operates in the Czech Republic, Croatia and Serbia. 60% of its business involves providing pay television, while 25% comes from Internet customers and 14% from its phone service. In April 2014, the Company became the owner of Cluj Fiber Optic Integrator, a developer of DuctCity fiber-optic network in Cluj-Napoca-Telecompaper Europe. In July 2014, the Company took over all the actions of local television cable operator Vesatel, which operates in the locality of Reghin, Mures county.
