Q Capital AG is a Switzerland-based company engaged in the investment in listed and unlisted equities, as well as in fixed income, commodities, currencies and selected alternative investment, among others. Long and short term strategies focus on event driven investments, such as mergers and acquisitions and special situations, and on directional investments in equity markets, such as equities and hedge funds. As of December 31, 2010, the Company owned a fully consolidated subsidiary Q Capital Ltd, as well as minority stakes in Gazprom ADR, C-Quadrat Springer European Plus, and Kazakhmys Ltd, among others. In addition, BOVA Global Ltd was the Company’s major shareholder with 38.6% of its interest.
