Prime Islami Insurance PLC., formerly Prime Insurance Company Limited is a Bangladesh-based non-life insurance company. The Company is authorized to transact all classes of general insurance business. The Company offers all conventional general insurance products along with products in the field of fire insurance, burglary insurance, marine insurance, motor insurance, engineering insurance, aviation insurance, ship builders liability insurance, various types of miscellaneous insurance including health insurance. The Company operates in approximately 40 branches across the country. Its fire insurance products provide coverage for buildings and their contents, plant and machinery, stock in process, goods and merchandise, and stock of raw materials, finished goods, among others. Its marine insurance primarily provides financial protection to the ship owners, cargo owners or the freight owners in respect of any loss or damage to their interests caused by maritime perils insured against.
