PARKER CORPORATION is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of automobiles, steel, machinery and equipment, parts, materials and chemicals. The Company operates through five business segments. The Machinery segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of food machinery, shoemaking machinery, automotive equipment and other equipment. The Chemical Product segment provides sealing materials, undercoats, body weight reductions, hollow foam members as rigidity auxiliary materials, and glass sealing materials for automotive production lines. The Chemicals segment provides industrial cleaning agents and steel equipment. The Industrial Materials segment provides soundproofing materials for automobiles and home appliances. The Chemical Industry segment provides liquid crystal-related chemicals, car wash chemicals, other industrial chemicals and industrial hot air blowers. The other business is involved in petroleum-related products and real estate leasing business.
