Northern Shield Resources Inc. is a Canada-based junior mining company. The Company is engaged in the business of identifying, acquiring, and exploring mineral properties located primarily in Eastern Canada. Its principal properties include Root & Cellar, Shot Rock, and Idefix. The Root & Cellar Au-Ag-Te-Cu property, the Company’s flagship project, consists of 16 mineral licenses covering approximately 203 square kilometers and is located near Marystown and Creston on the Burin Peninsula, both of which provide deep water ports. The Root & Cellar property is being explored for epithermal gold mineralization and associated porphyry copper systems, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Seabourne Resources Inc. (Seabourne). The Shot Rock Au-Ag property is located along the Trans-Canada Highway between New Glasgow and Antigonish. The Idefix property is located 75 kilometers northwest of the Community of Kuujjuaq, in the Nunavik region of the province of Quebec.
