MRS Logistica S/A is a Brazil-based concessionary that controls, operates and monitors the Southeastern Federal Railroad Network. The Company’s operations comprise one operational segment: cargo railway transportation. It interconnects the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo. MRS Logistica also performs loading, unloading, storage and transshipment services at stations and yards and it provides technical consultancy services on railway matters and the sale of reusable materials and stock. The Company transports mostly iron ore, coal as well as steel products (coils, sheets, tubes, steel wires, pipes), minerals (limestone, granite, salt, sulfur, bauxite, zinc, manganese), scrap and pig iron and agricultural bulk (soybean, corn, bulk sugar, wheat).
