Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company. Its principal activities include the cultivation, manufacture, sale, and export of black tea and rubber, and the sale of solar generators and other crops. The Company operates through segments: Tea, Rubber, Coconut, Tea Export, Solar Project, and Others. It produces four types of tea: black tea, flavored tea, green tea, and white tea. The Company also cultivates a variety of spices, including thyme, cardamom, mustard, cloves, black pepper, rosemary, chives, mandarin, and pandan. It manufactures three types of rubber: ribbed smoked sheets, latex crepe rubber, and centrifuged latex. Additionally, it grows over four varieties of fruits, such as durian, rambutan, mandarin, and avocado. It is also involved in producing body care, face care, and hair care products. It owns plantations of approximately 7,000 hectares. The Company’s subsidiary is Malwatte Spices (Pvt) Ltd, which is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of spices.
