Maier & Partner AG is a Germany-based venture capital company. The Company invests in firms in five main business areas: Financial Services and Consulting, Internet and Media, Software and Information Technology (IT), Healthcare and Telecommunications. The Company subjects all potential investments to a risk rating process and provides capital upon a positive outcome, as well as providing administrative and strategic support. In November 2003, the Reutlingen tax office filed a claim for additional corporation tax payments and, in December 2004, requested that insolvency proceedings be opened against Maier + Partner, both of which the Company has contested.
