IMP Powers Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the manufacturing of transformers. The Company offers transformers ranging up to 315 MVA in the 400 kV class. Its transformers include Power Transformer, EHV Transformer, Auto Transformers, Generator Transformer (GT), Unit Auxilary Transformer (UAT), Station Transformer (ST), Special Application Transformers. Its distribution transformers are in service for 6.6kV, 11kv, 22kV & 33 kV voltage class throughout the country and abroad. It offers GT with incoming voltage of 6.6kV, 11kV, 13.8kV, 21kV to step up to 132kV, 220kV, 400kV. The UAT is the power transformer that provides power to the auxiliary equipment, such as motors and compressors in the power generating station. Its ST is employed to supply auxiliary loads to the power plant for starting the plant when the generating unit is not in operation. It operates three Small Hydro Projects at Khandi (2x750kW), Matayeen (1x550 kW) and Raru (2x1000 kW) in the Kargil region.
