Hathor Exploration Limited (Hathor) is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. It is focused on uranium exploration in the Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan and Alberta. As of March 31, 2010, the Company had interest in eight projects, which is in the eastern Athabasca region of Saskatchewan. It also holds interests in two projects located near the AREVA Resources Canada Inc in the western Athabasca Basin. The Midwest NorthEast property, located in the Athabasca basin of northern Saskatchewan, which is 90% owned by the Company. The South Russell property is consists of two claims that are 100% owned and six claims that are 90% owned. It also holds 100% of Hatchet Lake and North Hatchet projects are located approximately 50 kilometers to the north-northeast of Cameco's basement-hosted Eagle Point Mine. In August 2011, Hathor acquired Terra Ventures Inc. In January 2012, Rio Tinto Limited's indirect wholly owned subsidiary acquired additional 5.87% of Hathor.
