Gyldendal ASA is a Norway-based holding company primarily active within the book publishing and distribution areas. The Company is involved in all business areas of the Norwegian book publishing industry. Gyldendal ASA is responsible for corporate strategy, finance and property development. It operates through a number of subsidiaries, including Gyldendal Norsk Forlag AS, a publishing house, Ark Bokhandel AS, a manager of a chain of bookstores, Forlagssentralen ANS, a book distributor that also proivdes logistics activities, and De norske Bokklubbene AS, an operator of book sales club.
