Genesis Financial, Inc. (GFI) is engaged in the business of buying and selling seller financed real estate loans, and originating commercial real estate hard money loans. The Company purchases seller financed real estate loans from sellers directly or from sellers introduced to GFI by brokers. Seller financed real estate loans are originated by the selling owner of real property. The Company purchases seller financed real estate loans, originates commercial real estate loans, and pursues other forms of cash flow instruments. GFI holds interests in Flyback Energy, Inc., which has developed an electronic switch design that offers control over electrical power and magnetic fields. The Company also holds interests in Ambient Water Corporation, which sells Air-to-Water machines for residential and commercial potable water applications, and in a real property leasehold interest that consists of approximately 63 acres in Halliday, North Dakota.
