FDK CORPORATION is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of batteries and other electronic-related materials and components. The Company operates in two business segments. The Battery segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of dry batteries, applied products and rechargeable batteries. The Electronic segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of electronics related materials and components. The main products include alkaline dry batteries, nickel hydride batteries, lithium batteries, manganese dry batteries, electric storage systems and other battery products, switching power supplies, coil devices, direct current (DC-DC) power modules, laminated power inductors, ceramic components and other electronic products.
