Factorial Energy Inc. is a solid-state battery innovator backed by In-Q-Tel and Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, Hyundai, and Kia. FEST is an electrolyte system that incorporates a polymer-based solid electrolyte with a small liquid component, supplanting the fully liquid electrolytes used in conventional Li-ion batteries. Its Factorial Electrolyte System Technology (FEST) cells are designed to meet the demands of the high-power market1 such as drones and on-road vehicles. Its Solstice cells are engineered for long cycle applications, such as mobile robots and AI data center energy storage solutions. Its Solstice technology is designed to address the needs of high-cycle life applications where long life and extreme high temperature stability are expected. Its Solstice cells have been produced in sizes as large as 40 Ah, Its Gammatron, a proprietary software-based, AI-enabled simulation platform designed to mimic and model the performance of Factorialâ€™s batteries over their lifecycle.
