Emmsons International Limited is an India-based company primarily engaged in the business of trading of commodities. The Company is trading around 20 major commodities, which are organized in four segments: Agricultural Products, which includes rice, wheat, barley, corn, soyameal, and sorghum; Soft Commodities includes sugar, cotton and yarn, pulses, and rubber; Raw Materials include energy coal, iron ore, chrome ore, cement, manganese ore, and clinker and aggregates, and Fertilizers include urea, Sulphur, chemicals and others. The company, on long-term leases, has 7,500 hectares of land under active cultivation of oilseeds, wheat, yellow peas, barley, and sorghum. The Company has a presence in Europe through its wholly owned subsidiary, Emmsons SA. Its subsidiary, Emmsons Gulf DMCC, owns coal mines in the Kalimantan region of Indonesia.
