Deep Energy Resources Limited is an India-based company engaged in exploration and production of conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons. The Company holds its unconventional hydrocarbon resources portfolio through its subsidiary Prabha Energy Private Limited (PEPL). PEPL is engaged in upstream, midstream, and downstream activities relating to exploration and production of natural gas from coal bed methane (CBM) and is developing two such CBM blocks. PEPL holds approximately 25% participatory interest in North Karanpura CBM Block (Jharkhand) with ONGC and Indian Oil Corporation holding the rest of the interest. PEPL also holds the operator ship for the North Karanpura block.
