Cunico Resources N.V (Cunico) is an international mining company engaged in the exploration, mining, processing, marketing and sale of nickel, copper and cobalt. Cunico operates three processing plants: Feni and Ferronikeli for the processing of nickel in Macedonia and Kosovo, and Chambishi for the processing of copper and cobalt in Zambia. Cunico has operations in Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Zambia. As of December 31, 2006, the Company's operations produced 10,942 tons of nickel, 22,451 tons of copper and 3,212 tons of cobalt. The Company is refurbishing a two-line nickel production plant owned by Ferronikeli in Kosovo. The plant commenced operations in June 2007. In June 2014, the Company announced it has completed the sale Anfield's Guatemalan subsidiary, Mayaniquel S.A. and its Mayaniquel nickel laterite project, to Cunico Resources N.V. (Transaction). In June 2014, it acquired Anfield's Guatemalan subsidiary, Mayaniquel S.A. and its Mayaniquel nickel laterite project.
